Council President Nikolić meets China’s Ambassador Li Manchang

President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China Tomislav Nikolić had a meeting today with Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia Li Manchang.

Council President Nikolić conveyed to Ambassador Li Manchang his very positive impressions from the last week’s visit to China. Mr. Nikolić extended special words of appreciation to the Embassy of China for its work on the visit’s preparation and realization. The visit included meetings in Beijing and Xiamen, and the tour of “Zijin”, a company specialized in mining. Council President Nikolić asked Ambassador Li Manchang to reiterate his gratitude to the hosts for the cordial reception and generous hospitality bestowed upon him during his stay in China. Mr. Nikolić emphasized that he was particularly impressed both by the technological progress visible in each segment of the Chinese people’s life, and by the unity emanating from the Chinese society at all stages of the country’s development.

The collocutors agreed that they expected the two countries’ business cooperation to be maintained through specific energy-related projects, in the nearest future.
