National Council President Nikolić meets Chairman of Transportation Systems Felix Vinokur

President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China Mr. Tomislav Nikolić had a meeting today with Chairman of Transportation Systems Felix Vinokur.

In his talks with the Chairman of Transportation Systems, Mr. Nikolić underlined that the Serbia-Russia relations were very friendly, but that there was a need to enhance economic cooperation. “The National Council supports Russian entrepreneurs in their intention to increase their presence in the Serbian market”, Council President Nikolić underlined.

“Transportation Systems is the leading Russian manufacturer of top-notch vehicles for public transport, primarily trams and trolleybuses. Two years ago, our company won he largest tender so far for the procurement of 300 trolleybuses in Moscow. The main reason explaining our company’s success is that the railroad cars we produce have more doors in comparison to our competitors’, which impacts the speed at which passengers alight and get off the trams. Transportation Systems aims to offer the most beautiful, the most comfortable and the most affordable trolleys to the Serbian market, adjusted to meet the needs of Belgrade and its residents. When visiting the company last year, Russia’s President Vladimir Putin highlighted Russia’s readiness to provide long-term affordable funding for the shipment of our company’s products to future clients”, Chairman Vinokur underscored.
