President of the National Council Tomislav Nikolić calls on Chinese entrepreneurs to continue investing in Serbian cities

President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China Tomislav Nikolić talked today to representatives of Chinese companies interested in investing in infrastructure, trade, opening electrical appliance factories, tourism, environmental protection, film industry and cultural cooperation between China and Serbia.

Representatives of Chinese companies are staying in Serbia in order to receive more specific information about the business conditions and all legal procedures that they need to meet before entering the Serbian market. They emphasized that their companies’ business policy went hand in hand with the “One Belt, One Road” Government initiative, pioneered by President Xi Jinping.

“The friendship between Serbia and China is unconditional and is characterized by constant progress, especially in the economic cooperation. Serbia and China have signed the Joint Declaration on the Establishment of a Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. The National Council works closely with the National Development and Reform Commission of the People’s Republic of China and each project aimed at improving the two countries’ cooperation also enjoys the support of President Xi Jinping”, Mr. Nikolić underlined. He also highlighted that Chinese entrepreneurs operating in Serbia could establish partnerships with Serbian counterparts all across sectors of their business activity, encouraging them to continue investing in Serbian cities.
