China’s President Xi Jinping Addresses Letter to Council President Nikolić

Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Republic of Serbia Li Manchang handed today the original copy of the thank-you letter that China’s President Xi Jinping had addressed to President of the National Coordination Council for Russia and China Tomislav Nikolić, in reply to the congratulatory message that Mr. Nikolić had sent to President Xi Jinping on the occasion of his birthday. The President’s letter reads as follows:

“Dear Mr. President,

I thank you sincerely for the congratulatory message you addressed to me on the occasion of my birthday. I devote significant attention to the development of the Sino-Serbian relations, and I highly appreciate both the close working relationship and the personal friendship that I have developed with you over the years.

I am confident that, under your leadership, the National Coordination Council for Russia and China will play a greater role in deepening the practical cooperation between China and Serbia, with the aim of bringing benefits to both nations.

I wish you good health and every success in your endeavours.”
