Council President Nikolić and Ambassador Li Manchang discuss opportunities for new Serbia-bound Chinese investments

President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China Tomislav Nikolić talked to Ambassador of PR China to Serbia Li Manchang about the opportunities for new Serbia-bound Chinese investments and the upcoming visit of the NDRC delegation to Belgrade, to take place next week.

In the talks, the two collocutors noted that Serbia continued to be a reliable partner of China and that the execution of ongoing joint projects was running on schedule, adding that opportunities opened up for major Chinese companies to make fresh investments in Belgrade, Zrenjanin, Smederevo, Kragujevac and other Serbian cities. Council President Nikolić recalled the great friendship existing between Serbia and China, owing to President Xi Jinping.

“The direct support that President Xi offered to Serbia is invaluable. In the case of Serbia, President Xi has proven that he can be a friend with anyone who wishes to be friends with China. Serbia is grateful to President Xi for strongly supporting our economic development”, Council President Nikolić underlined.
