China’s President Xi sends a letter with season’s greetings to Council President Nikolić

President of the National Council for Russia and China Tomislav Nikolić received today a farewell call from the Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Serbia, H. E. Li Manchang.

Ambassador Li Manchang presented to Mr. Nikolić a letter with season’s greetings signed by China’s President Xi Jinping, underlining that President Xi wished Mr. Nikolić, his long-standing personal friend and a great friend of the Chinese people, good health and success as head of the National Council, in the interest of the continuously growing cooperation between the two nations and states.

Council President Nikolić thanked the Ambassador for his great personal contribution to the completion of major Sino-Serbian projects during his tenure, thus helping to boost the Sino-Serbian economic collaboration and sparking the interest of Chinese companies to invest in Serbia, and for his constant efforts to further strengthen the traditionally good relations between the Serbs and the Chinese, at all levels.

“The first time we met I presented to you my Letter of Credence, and in our last meeting I would like to present to you a letter from your personal friend President Xi Jinping”, the outgoing Ambassador of China told Mr. Nikolić.
