Council President Nikolić in meeting with Wan Li Think Tank delegation

President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China Tomislav Nikolić had talks with a delegation from the Beijing-based Wan Li Think Tank, headed by its Secretary General Zhao Yue.

“China’s political and economic system has been hugely successful, with your economic development being analyzed by all the countries of the world today. China is a major investor world-wide and a country where the welfare of peoples is primary concern. The Western states should not resist the economic globalization advanced by China, for it will make the world a better place. Serbia has a qualified and skilled labour force, a free trade with many countries across the world and it stands ready to collaborate successfully with China. In the new stage of Sino-Serbian relations, the National Council will encourage joint production for third markets”, Mr. Nikolić underlined.

“The concrete talks we had yesterday, when you launched the economic forum, have led us to believe that what future holds in store for both sides are many projects with Serbia. Our main idea is to create a joint database to promote all projects that both the Chinese and the Serbian side could plan to execute. The aim is to make information on all the existing projects available at any time. The projects that we could carry out with Serbia include plant growth technology, animal feed production technology, and we are ready to apply the latest technology in solar energy production. We wish to maintain a high quality cooperation with Serbia”, Mr. Zhao Yue said.
