“I am pleased to be back in Xiamen and I am looking forward to the deepening of our cooperation, as there is ample room for it. The strategic partnership between Zijin and MSC Bor was an initial step, now we are to work out new projects. Markets in almost the entire world are open to Serbia and this is our opportunity for cooperation. Serbia has opened its doors to you and to all your ideas and projects. The National Council is particularly attached to your Province because the MSC Bor project has been the first major project implemented via National Council. Serbia and China are more than just friends – according to President Xi Jinping, we are tied by a friendship made of steel”, Council President Nikolić emphasized.

“The preceding year was important for the development of relations between Fujian and Serbia. In addition to the MSC Bor-Zijin strategic partnership, Fujian Province organized a number of events in Serbia aimed at promoting the Sino-Serbian cooperation. I am pleased that Serbia is the guest of honour at CIFIT 2019, and that many Serbian officials have paid a visit to Xiamen. This is an opportunity for us to jump-start our cooperation. We have a huge potential for collaboration because our entrepreneurs complement each other and we think that the time has come to energize it”, Mr. Chen Ansheng emphasized.

The delegation of the Fujian Provincial Department of Foreign Trade and Economic Cooperation will hold an economic forum in Serbia in late September, together with the Government and economic sector representatives.
