Sino-Serbian cooperation growing stronger and stronger

Following the official inauguration of CIFIT 2019, President of the National Council for Coordination of Cooperation with the Russian Federation and the People’s Republic of China Tomislav Nikolić talked to the delegates of Fujian State-Owned Assets Management Co., Ltd, headed by Zheng Li.

“The friendship between Serbia and China is genuine, and the fact that Serbia is this year’s guest of honour at the largest investment fair in China, which is both a great privilege and a huge responsibility, testifies to the fact. Sino-Serbian cooperation is growing stronger and stronger, and you are helping to promote our relations within the scope of your work. Markets in almost the entire world are open to Serbia and our common goal should be to build factories where products will be made for third markets. For instance, Serbia boasts arable land, though not to an unlimited extent, which is why everyone who wishes to produce in Serbia should start as soon as possible. I wish you to develop relations with Serbia, which is in the best interest of your company, in line with the ideas of Chinese and Serbian leaders, and in the interest of Serbia”, Mr. Nikolić underlined.

“Zijin has conveyed to us its positive impressions about its cooperation with Serbia, so I hope that CIFIT 2019 will help to bring China and Serbia closer together. You have made huge efforts to upgrade the cooperation between our countries to this level, and you have created the basis for its further improvement. China and Serbia should continue to jointly strengthen their political and economic cooperation, and we will take part in it within our responsibilities in the Province of Fujian”, Mr. Zheng Li said.
